About Bertil Rolandsson

Background: Bertil Rolandsson is Professor at the Department of Sociology and Work 91探花, University 91探花, Sweden.

Research areas: His expertise includes organizational reforms and the consequences of digitalization for our working lives. His research often address how different institutionalized values 鈥嬧媌ecome organizing principles, or how governance, legitimacy or trust problems arise and are handled in connection with various digitalization initiatives. He has also conducted research on how specific professional groups such as police, doctors and translators handle various organizational changes. He participates and has participated in research projects that deal with various forms of digitalization and its consequences for working life in general and professional groups in particular. These studies range from, among other things, the software industry and the media industry to new forms of digital monitoring and AI in healthcare.

Teaching and supervision: He teaches on different levels, in courses that in various ways address areas such as the labor market, scientific methods and organization and management in working life.
