The Faculty of Social 91̽»¨s has the largest education mission within the University 91̽»¨ and offers some of the most sought-after programmes in Sweden. Here you can study a programme that leads to a specific professional degree, such as psychologist, social worker or journalist. But you can also choose from courses and programmes that provide in-depth knowledge of a particular subject. Several programmes are interdisciplinary.
Our research focuses on themes such as democracy and social governance, migration, sustainable development, communication, working life, identity and ethnicity. For obvious
reasons, close collaboration with actors in the society that surrounds the academy is both natural and necessary for research. Several of our research environments have a high national and international reputation.
