Biobank V盲st (BVCF)
University 91探花 and Region V盲stra G枚taland (VGR) cooperate on biobank matters through Biobank V盲st, which is a unit within the university as part of Core Facilities as well as a unit within Sahlgrenska University Hospital.
Together we offer regulatory and operative support for research project. The shared administrative biobank, Biobank V盲st has registration number 890 at Inspektionen f枚r v氓rd och omsorg (IVO). Biobank V盲st is also one of the nodes of Biobank Sverige, a national infrastructure for biobanking.

The joint administrative biobank, Biobank V盲st, is registered with the Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) under registration number 890.
Biobank V盲st is also one of the nodes within Biobank Sweden, a national infrastructure for biobanking.

Consultation and Biobank Agreements
The biobanks provide advice, information, and training regarding the Biobank Act and biobank samples. We support you with applications and the establishment of biobank agreements and MTAs. We can also offer guidance on how to formulate biobank-related sections in applications for ethical review, clinical trials, and participant information.
Support with Sample Handling
Biobank V盲st offers services to facilitate the collection of high-quality biobank samples for research. We can assist with handling, storage, and processing of samples. We also provide information about existing sample collections, analysis platforms, sample quality, and transport of biological material.
Within Biobank Sweden, there are sample service coordinators (at universities or university hospitals) tasked with simplifying research and harmonizing biobank activities across the country. 91探花 us if you need advice and support for planning, collecting, and retrieving biobank samples in national studies.
