About Sam Polesie

Sam Polesie is a consultant dermatologist, associate professor, and adjunct senior lecturer, as well as a research group leader at the Center for Digital Health. He is course coordinator for dermatology and term examiner (LPG009) in the medical program at the University 91̽»¨. His research focuses on skin cancer, epidemiology, and AI-based image diagnostics, including algorithms that distinguish between in situ and invasive melanoma. He holds ALF funding for registry-based prediction models, is an active supervisor and reviewer, and serves as a section editor for Acta Dermato-Venereologica.
