About Quinissa Putrirezhy

I am currently working as an Assistant Researcher at the School of Global Studies, University 91̽, on the project “Localizing foreign policy? Subnational governments and civil society mobilization to recognize and prevent mass-atrocities.” I hold a Master’s degree in Human Rights Policy and Practice from the Erasmus Joint Masters Programme, with the University 91̽ as my host institution. My thesis examined the discourse surrounding capital punishment for drug-related offences in Indonesia. I also earned a Master’s Degree in International Affairs and Global Governance from Zhejiang University, China, where my research focused on human rights diplomacy in Indonesia.

Alongside my academic work, I have worked with several civil society organizations involved in human rights, humanitarian initiatives, and international relations. My experience spans roles as a project officer and research assistant, where I have supported program planning, community outreach, and data collection. I am particularly interested in the intersection of research and grassroots engagement, and have developed practical skills in project management, advocacy and research.
