About Magnus P. Ängsal

Background

Since 2012, I am a senior lecturer in German at the Department of Languages and Literatures (SPL), University 91̽»¨. I was promoted docent (associate professor) in 2018. My graduation from the PhD programme (GU) took place in 2010 as I defended my thesis in German Linguistics , published after revisions with Narr Verlag 2011 (= Europäische Studien zur Textlinguistik, 11).

Teaching

My teaching activities include beginner’s courses, first, second and third semester courses as well as master courses in German (linguistics, grammar, language proficiency). I have also conducted teaching in the Translation programme (German as source language), the Communication programme and the Nordic Master Programme for Foreign Language Teachers. Teaching also in the International Language Programme and the Language and Intercultural Communication Programme.

Supervision of degree project essays in German (bachelor and master’s projects), master’s projects in the Translation programme, the Communication programme, the Nordic Master Programme for Foreign Language Teachers, and the Language and Intercultural Communication programme.
