Jeff Kaller serves as the Program Director for the Master in Applied Arts and Design program at HDK-Valand Steneby. His background is in ceramic art, teaching and academic leadership.
Kaller received his MFA in Ceramic Art from (USA), BFA in Crafts from (USA) and was a Fulbright recipient to study ceramic art at (Finland).
Prior to his work with HDK Valand, Kaller served as the Rektor for Stiftelesn Stenebyskolan and as Associate Professor of Art at (USA) where he also served as Interim Chair of The Department of Art and taught in study abroad programs in London and Japan.
Kaller’s studio practice explores structure / surface relationships through pyro-plastic ceramic material. His works can be found in several public and private collections including: The Columbus Museum (USA), San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts (USA), The Alfred Ceramic Art Museum at Alfred University (USA).
