About Hillevi Prell

Hillevi Prell has a BSc in Food Service Management, is senior lecturer in food and nutrition science and has also a MSc in Library and Information 91̽»¨. She received her PhD in 2010 with a thesis examning influences on the food habits of children and adolescents with focus on school and food advertising.

Research interests:

  • Food habits of children and adolescents and influencing factors
  • Health discourse in food advertising
  • Personal trainers' talk about health, exercise and diet and the border between health and unhealth
  • Barriers and possibilities for good food and meals in the preschool
