About Elias Markstedt

I am a Postdoc and Deputy PI at the Gothenburg Research Program on Pregnancy and Politics, where my research focuses on gender and politics. I study how pregnancy and the transition to parenthood shape gender differences in political attentiveness, knowledge, and attitudes, as well as women's visibility in the media.

Previously, I served as Survey Manager at the SOM Institute and the Laboratory of Opinion Research (LORE) from 2011 to 2018.
