About Andreas Eriksson

I have got a PhD in English linguistics and have worked with academic writing and the integration of academic writing and communication in higher education for many years. I am associate professor och work at the Department of Social Work since the autumn of 2024.

Research interests

I am primarily interested in the integration and organisation of communication and writing in higher education (Integrating Content and Language (ICL)). The aim is to support students' learning as well as to make sure that they develop essential skills. In addition, I am interested in subjects such as genre, genre pedagogy and collaborative writing.

Teaching

My teaching involves communication and writing at all levels. I teach academic writing, oral presentations and writing for publication in both Swedish and English. I also have extensive experience of working with feedback and peer feedback.
