About Adnan Noor Baloch

Lecturer in Health science statistics at the School of Public Health and Community Medicine, Institute of Medicine.

Teaching: My teaching portfolio includes courses at the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels. I am actively involved in the Master in Public Health 91̽»¨ and the Master in Global Health programs, where I teach advanced qualitative research methods.

Research: My research primarily focuses on the application of statistical methods for analyzing data from observational studies, with a specific emphasis on occupational health epidemiology. I examine the impact of individual and work environment factors on the work ability of employees with health challenges, including cancer survivors, workers with musculoskeletal disorders (MSD), and individuals with common mental disorders. My work aims to identify positive and health-promoting factors that enhance work ability, health, and overall well-being.

I actively engage with various research groups both within and outside the University 91̽»¨. These collaborations enrich the multidisciplinary aspect of my research, facilitating a broader understanding in occupational health studies.
